Quartz Crystal and Chalcedony SiO₂ – a compact variety of microcrystalline quartz. We were very lucky to obtain this in one piece! Flat chalcedony back, tubular like shape covered in a druzy coating of quartz, flowing down as they burst into a bed of clear sparkling crystals. Orange middle color is most likely due to an iron oxide coating on the microcrystalline quartz surface.
